STORYLINE EXPLAINED
After Sabbac's defeat and the disappearance of the Legions of Hell, a stillness settles over Kahndaq. Its people, once ruled by fear and oppression, now stand in awe of their new protector, uncertain of what comes next. Black Adam, no longer the vengeful figure he once was, surveys the land with a solemn determination. The weight of his past mistakes and the immense power he wields presses heavily upon him.
As he stands amidst the ruins of the palace, Adam reflects on the journey that led him here. Hurut's sacrifice, his own fall from grace, and the destruction he unleashed in his blind rage—these memories haunt him. The power of the gods courses through him, but the burden of responsibility tempers his might. He knows he can never erase the blood on his hands, but he can choose to use his strength for something greater.
In the aftermath, the Justice Society debriefs. Hawkman, though bruised and weary, acknowledges the complexity of Black Adam's nature. "He’s not a hero in the way we define it," Hawkman admits to his team, "but he’s not our enemy, either. Kahndaq has been through enough. Maybe he’s exactly what they need—a protector born from the ashes of their pain."
Doctor Fate’s sacrifice weighs heavily on the group, especially on Hawkman, who feels the void left by his old friend's passing. The Justice Society vows to remain vigilant, knowing the balance of power in the world has shifted with Adam’s resurgence. But they also understand that for now, Kahndaq belongs to its people—and to its protector.

Elsewhere, whispers of Black Adam’s deeds begin to spread beyond Kahndaq. World leaders and powerful organizations take note, some viewing him as a threat, others as a potential ally. Meanwhile, Adam walks among his people, quiet and reserved, his presence a stark reminder of the divine forces that now reside within their land.
Despite the lingering doubt within him, Black Adam begins to embrace his role as Kahndaq's guardian. He stands against those who would try to exploit his homeland, drawing a clear line between justice and tyranny. Yet, the question remains—can a man forged in vengeance truly embody the ideals of protection and selflessness? Or will the darker impulses that once drove him resurface in times of conflict?
In the shadows, forces begin to stir. Other powerful beings, both divine and mortal, are intrigued by Adam’s return. Old enemies from his past, and new threats from across the cosmos, prepare to test the strength of Kahndaq’s new champion. Black Adam may have accepted his role, but the world is far from ready for the storm he brings.
As he watches over the city from the broken throne he has cast aside, Black Adam knows that his fight is far from over. The question is no longer whether he is a hero or villain—it is whether he can be the protector Kahndaq deserves, and whether the world can handle the might of Black Adam.
In the mid-credits scene, Amanda Waller appears via hologram in the midst of Kahndaq's ancient ruins, her tone firm and unyielding as she warns Black Adam. "You may have liberated Kahndaq," she says, "but if you step outside its borders, you’ll face consequences." Adam, unfazed, smirks and retorts, "No one on this planet can stop me."
Waller's expression doesn't change. "I can call in favors from those who aren’t from this planet." As her words hang in the air, the sky darkens, and a figure descends from above. Superman, calm yet authoritative, lands before Adam. "We should talk," he says, his voice steady but serious, as the two powerful beings lock eyes. The tension is palpable, hinting at a potential confrontation—or an understanding—between them. Black Adam, intrigued but not intimidated, replies, "I’m not much for talking, but I’m listening."
The scene ends with the two standing face to face, the promise of a monumental encounter looming.
